With a diameter of approximately 175,000 light-years, NGC 6744 is
a fairly large galaxy. NGC 6744A is unlikely to be connected to
NGC 6744 and is probably located in the foreground. ESO 104-44
and LEDA 2815832 could be dwarf galaxies in the NGC 6744
system.
